Theresa Normile MSN, RN


Theresa Normile is an exceptional nurse leader with more than three decades of experience in a variety of settings in health care systems. As a Senior Consultant in Nursing with the HCI Healthcare, she provides tools and guidance to clients in order to facilitate positive patient outcomes and staff engagement.


Ms. Normile has a strong background in operations, accreditation, infusion services and leadership development. Most recently she served as a nurse director at an academic medical center in Boston where she supervised 25 clinical and non-clinical staff and oversaw infusion services and therapeutic apheresis services.


Her career began at a regional medical center where she worked on the inpatient oncology and hematology unit caring for patients during their cancer treatment. She then spent 21 years caring for families and their newborns in the obstetrical department at a major Boston hospital.


Ms. Normile has been involved in many institution-wide initiatives including preparation for Magnet Certification and building a Nursing Professional Governance Model. In 2012, she received the Kerlat Award for Nursing Excellence in recognition for her creation and implementation of the Resource Nurse Leader role in the obstetrical department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is a member of the Infusion Nurse Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.


Ms. Normile earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Fitchburg State College and a Master of Nursing Administration from Simmons University.
